The most beautiful stay - Lizzie and Naomi

"We had the most beautiful stay in Chalet Mam’Da. It’s a gorgeous chalet located at the heart of Les Diablerets, surrounded by mountains. We came and stayed in summer time and we were able to enjoy the sunshine whilst going on walks along the river running through Les Diablerets and hike up to Lac Retaud (a beautiful lake in the mountains) and to Dar Waterfall. We loved the mountain train and used it to get to Aigle, then hopped on a short train to Montreux to go kayaking on lake Geneva. Chalet Mam’Da really was a beautiful place to stay. There’s plenty of room with a great kitchen and downstairs area. The local shop and restrurants are all really close too. Would highly recommend for a summer stay or a lovely ski break too."

A Fantastic Location - Katherine G

"Just come back from a week's skiing in Les Diableret staying at Chalet Mam'Da. A fantastic location with a 10 minute walk to the gondola which takes you up to the pretty ski area of Les Diableret linked with Bretaye & Villars. Walking distance to restaurants, ski hire and large supermarket. The chalet is very homely, cosy and comfortable, we were 2 families and enough room for us all."

Chalet Mam'Da has everything for young and old - Luc M, Belgium

" The previous fifteen ski holidays we stayed at Chalet Mam'da with the children and grandchilden for Christmas and with 6-7 senior adults in March. The chalet has plenty of charm, a modern interior in a beautiful ancient building.
The lady on the ground in Diablerets and her husband are super friendly and helpful.
The chalet has six bedrooms, a large dining room and a large living room with a cosy corner to read, write and play games with a similar corner in the grand kitchen. There is plenty of space with respect to privacy that suits young and old, skiers and non-skiers. Children can go into a basement room to watch TV, read, play games...
The chalet is perfectly located at walking distance to the restaurants, the chops, and the Coop. The ski-school is at walking distance (10 minutes) and so are the lifts to Meilleret and to Villars/Gryon and so is the bus to the glacier. In 25 minutes you can reach the ski areas of Gstaad/ Saanenmöser. Most of the time we ski at Meilleret, at Villars/Gryon and on the glacier. We can even be back by noon to get the grandchildren from school, to have lunch at home and to switch to another ski-area.
I highly recommend a stay in Chalet Mam'Da."

Lovely week at Chalet Mam'Da - Teresa R

"We spent a lovely week at Chalet Mam'Da. It had everything we needed and more. It was perfectly located in the centre of the village and the Isenau telecabine. The Chalet itself was beautiful, perfectly modernised within a stunning old chalet. We were met and shown round the chalet by a lovely lady who could not have been more helpful, nothing was too much to ask. We hope to visit again soon. We would definitely recommend a visit."

Real luxury in a gorgeous town - Bethany L

"My entire stay at Chalet Mam 'Da was a complete pleasure. The owner was prompt to reply to all mails, even though it was Christmas and very short notice. The lady on the ground in Les Diablerets was super friendly and helpful. And the chalet itself was just perfect: a modern interior housed in a beautiful ancient building. Great communal areas, including a divine kitchen and great dining room, throughout the ground floor, with most of the sleeping arrangements upstairs. All the bedrooms were spacious and super comfy.

The chalet is right in the centre of the village, meaning we didn't need a car as you are so close to the station and the bus stop for the free Navette, and 10 minutes walk from the Meilleret lift .

I would highly recommend it."

Mam'Da has everything you need! - James S

"Chalet Mam'Da was a great experience for our group which consisted of 12 persons. 3 Couples (3 double beds), and 6 singles occupying the 3 single rooms. The Chalet offered everything for a pleasant week. Walking to\from the train station (5 min), the bus stop right next door, walking to the lifts (10-15 min), and the COOP was literally the next block over so all necessities were conveniently at our disposal. Chalet Mam'Da is very spacious and with the whole Chalet occupied, there was no lack of space and places to relax for anyone. The Chalet offered all the amenities we could ask for in a ski village! The banks are a bit away from the Chalet (10 min), so accomodate accordingly. Also, be prepared to pay the deposit in either euros or swiss francs. This may present a problem for those who receive the deposit back at the end of the stay and are stuck with a large sum of either euros or francs. Also, upon arrival, be prepared to make connections to your host in advance, this will reduce the anxiety of getting into the Chalet. The Chalet is great value and even with a full house, the amount of room was very spacious. The chalet also has many DVDs, games and books for reading. What a great find Chalet Mam'Da was and everyone on our trip raved about the convenience and the overall comfort of the chalet... I would recommend this chalet to anyone seeking a peaceful and relaxing vacation in a quiet setting."
