SkiChaletsDiablerets presents Chalet Mam'Da a traditional detached Swiss chalet located in the centre of the charming ski resort of Les Diablerets, in the Vaud Alps, Switzerland with easy access to the Les Diablerets, Villars and Gryon ski areas and Glacier 3000, as well as being only a short drive to the Gstaad ski area. Chalet Mam'Da comfortably sleeps 12 and is available for rent in the winter and summer seasons. Rental is by the week or for longer periods.
Chalet Mam'Da was built in 1738 and sympathetically restored in recent years. The chalet is centrally heated and has free WiFi, and satellite TV with English
channels. The chalet is clad in wood throughout and many of its old beams and traditional features remain visible. It has a living room with an open log fire, a separate dining room, a stunning new designer kitchen, six bedrooms, two bathrooms, and ample cellar storage for skis and outdoor equipment. The chalet is stocked with a good selection of games and English books and magazines.
The chalet is English owned and is managed locally. Services of a multi-lingual Swiss ski guide Jean-Marie Schlaubitz (who speaks English, French, German and Italian) are available, and for those who would prefer not to cook or sample the delights of the many local restaurants, gourmet food can be delivered direct to the chalet throughout the year by Alpine Gourmand run by Caroline Schlaubitz. Both Jean-Marie and Caroline are based close to the chalet.
